Pet CPR & First Aid
Would you know what to do if your dog suddenly choked on a bone? If your pet ate a toxic substance, like chocolate? Do you have a plan for your pet in the event you need to evacuate your family from your home? These topics, and many more, will be discussed in our Pet CPR and First Aid course as we discuss how to apply these techniques when caring for dogs and cats. This comprehensive program is ideal for pet owners and also for anyone working in an occupation that requires pet supervision or services. Students receive a completion certificate at the conclusion of the course.

- Approaching and restraining an injured animal
- Checking vitals
- Treating serious bleeding and shock
- Care for injuries and wounds
- Medical emergencies
- Environmental emergencies (animal bites, snake bites, ticks and more)
- Common Pet Illness and Conditions
Students receive and 40 page eManual and a certificate of completion at the conclusion of the course.
Cancellations, Refunds, Terms:
Cancellations by individuals received more than 48 hours before class start time will receive a full refund less a $10 service fee per enrollment. Cancellations by groups* received more than 10 days before class start time will receive a full refund less a $10 service fee per enrollment. Requests received after the stated deadlines will not be eligible for a refund or transfer. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late to class will not receive a certification card, or be eligible for refund or transfer. Proficiency in English is required to participate in, and receive a certification card for the class. The presence of a translator does not waive this requirement. Translators are not permitted in class.
*A group is 4 or more individuals signed up by one person or organization for the same class session.
