Adult CPR & AED
This American Heart Association CPR and AED course is for the lay rescuer (non-healthcare professional). The class focus is on establishing confidence and ability to perform high-quality CPR. Topics covered include:
- Scene Safety
- Assessing the Victim
- Chest Compressions
- Giving Breaths
- Using an AED
- Adult Choking
- The Good Samaritan Law
- And More!
Students receive a two-year certification card immediately after class. Need more date options? Consider an Adult CPR & First Aid class. Interested in learning CPR for the pediatric population? Consider an Adult, Child, Infant CPR class.
Cancellations, Refunds, Terms:
Cancellations by individuals received more than 48 hours before class start time will receive a full refund less a $10 service fee per enrollment. Cancellations by groups* received more than 10 days before class start time will receive a full refund less a $10 service fee per enrollment. Requests received after the stated deadlines will not be eligible for a refund or transfer. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late to class will not receive a certification card, or be eligible for refund or transfer. Proficiency in English is required to participate in, and receive a certification card for the class. The presence of a translator does not waive this requirement. Translators are not permitted in class.
*A group is 4 or more individuals signed up by one person or organization for the same class session.
